The Bridal Dressing Rooms has changed name

We have rebranded! The Bridal Dressing Rooms is evolving, and we are so excited to announce that we have changed our name from The Bridal Dressing Rooms Ltd to Velvet queen Ltd.

This name change better reflects our unique and inclusive wedding boutique, and it represents our community of empowered brides #imavelvetqueen.

A Velvet queen is a person who remains true to themselves, is beautiful inside and out, is not scared of being unique and is simply exceptional.

At Velvet queen we love to bring you bridalwear that is a little different. We get that not everyone wants to look the same and it’s important to find bridalwear that reflects your personal style and who you are. At Velvet queen, bridalwear does not just mean classic ivory dresses. Our bridalwear includes colour, patterns, embroidery and trousers. We have chosen to work with some of the best international and home-grown wedding designers to bring you the most amazing and unique bridalwear collections, such as Bowen Dryden, Evie Young and Willowby by Watters. Alongside our more alternative bridalwear we have also curated an amazing classic collection of bridalwear that is perfect for the modern fashion savvy bride looking for a more traditional bridal look.

At Velvet queen we have created a safe space for our brides. When you book a bridal appointment with us you get exclusive use of the boutique for you and up to 4 of your favourite people. Diversity and inclusivity are at the core of who we are and we strive to make sure that each and every bride has the best time. An appointment at Velvet queen is much more than just shopping, it is about creating an unforgettable experience where we celebrate you and your love story and focus on helping you make memories.

Over the last few months, we have been rolling out our new branding. You will notice a new logo and signage in and around the shop. We have transformed our boutique into a pink and rose gold paradise. A new Velvet queen bridal pack has been created for all our brides who say yes to their dress, which includes all of our new branded stationary and we will shortly be rolling out our bridal goody bags for our new Velvet queens.

Just like The Bridal Dressing Rooms, Velvet queen is still run and owned by Nicola. Our commitment to our brides remains our highest priority. Our rebrand will not affect or delay any of our current orders we have with brides. All contracts and paperwork from The Bridal Dressing Rooms is still valid.
